LANDFIRE (LF) Product Codes

There are a number of ways to access LF data, including the Data Distribution Site (DDS) and the LF Data Access Tool (LFDAT). LF product codes are also provided for developers to programmatically call the RequestSummary page.

PL codes can be replaced in LF data summary or metadata URLs, giving the user the ability to access LF data within a custom application. Replace the RED code, highlighted in the example codes below, with one of the PL codes.

The PL codes listed represent data currently available on the DDS. PL codes are unique to each dataset and new codes are developed for new datasets. As a result, updated LF products will have new PL codes.
