The LANDFIRE (LF) Program actively seeks and forms partnerships with other mapping programs. The National Gap Analysis Program (GAP) and LF have coordinated on a number of mapping efforts over the years and mapped vegetation of the U.S. in a complementary manner. Both programs are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that provides for an integrated data set. Watch for information on this exciting new partnership.

The LF Program has a rich history of engaging and forming partnerships with data programs. Some of these include: the Forest Inventory Analysis (FIA), Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics Consortium (MRLC) and National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS).
